West London Working (www.westlondonworking.org.uk) aims to achieve a sustainable increase in employment and to reduce child poverty through the structural transformation in the delivery of employment and training services.
We are looking for a committed individual to lead the development and implementation of a series of work packages designed to improve employment and skills provision in West London for local residents and employers.
Having the opportunity to work directly with our employer led board, senior representatives from central, regional and local government, as well as a range of providers from private, public and voluntary and community sector, you'll be an experienced project manager who has worked in complex political environments. With a relevant degree and excellent communications skills, you'll cope well under pressure and, above all, you'll have a solid understanding of London's communities, equalities issues and the Welfare to Work agenda.
Secondments will be considered for this role.
